Sponsored posts:
- I consider sponsored content across my various channels. Anything considered vaguely sponsored content will be clearly labelled (Gifted, Sponsored or PR) and obvious. I have always followed the FTC and ASA’s guidelines.
Affiliates Links and Cookies:
- An affiliate link is a link to a website that has been encoded with a tracking cookie. What that cookie does is note if you make a purchase after you clicked on the link. The website you bought from keeps track of the amounts purchased, organised by the unique codes. The “owner” (me) of those codes will then receive a commission for referring the sale. It does not cost you anything extra and supports this blog in what I think is the fairest way possible. It does not affect what I write about.
- Some of my posts will contain affiliated links that will give me a percentage of any purchase you make as a result of clicking through the link. You are under no obligation to click the link – it doesn’t impact the price you pay for your purchase.
- ‘Cookies’ are small pieces of information that a website sends to your computer’s hard drive while you are viewing a website – If you want to read more about cookies and how to control them, please view our privacy policy.
Product Reviews:
- Where possible I make every effort to purchase and review products. If budget does not allow, or it’s impractical (reviewing 5 different desks, for example), I will consolidate buyer reviews and offer comparisons to help with buying decisions.
